Conformity Assessment Body

When you register as a Conformity Assessment Body, you will be notified when a connected toy or device has been put through the risk assessment process and requires your attention.

You will either assign a trusted Reviewer to assess the online assessment for toys with a standard level of connected functionality, or you will complete a full, independent assessment on toys posing a high level of risk due to their enhanced connected functionality. Once these assessments have been completed and you are satisfied that the product meets all relevant security provisions, the toy can be registered as safe on the scheme and a Certificate of Conformity can be issued.
